Hello everybody!

We, hairlinewoes and auglenny have established ‘spiro guys‘ in an effort to document our progress using oral spironolactone to treat male pattern baldness.

To date there are very few men that used spironolactone or any other oral anti androgen to treat MPB. Well documented cases are virtually non-existent. We will strive to document our progress in as detailed and unbiased way as it is possible.

Our main concern is MPB but we will try to keep track of all side effects. Most notably potential changes in facial and body hair, changes in skin (acne, oiliness), sexual side effects, breast tissue development and any other effects that we will be able to identify.

We recognize that oral spironolactone has recently gained wide spread attention in the hair loss community and many people are considering taking it, but the lack of reliable information scares most of them. We want to change that. We welcome every single question and suggestion that you might have. You participation is very important for us.

Anybody that is considering or already taking oral spironolactone and wants to join us on documenting that journey can get in touch, we’d love to have more people tracking their progress with us.
